OVERVIEW & PURPOSE:

Explanation of Tool Checkout & Replacement Policy

Lake State Cleaning agrees to provide you with a full set of all the tools you will require to perform your job.

  • Upon receipt of these tools, you are responsible for keeping track of them.  It is important that you keep your tools organized and in good repair.
  • Some tools have a short lifespan and can be replaced as needed when they wear out (ie., safety glasses, click scrapers, work gloves, etc.)
  • Other tools have a long lifespan, and if properly cared for, will last you for many seasons.

Tool Replacement Policy

Any tools from your personal kit that you lose, damage or destroy due to negligence are your responsibility to replace.

At management’s discretion, the replacement cost of lost, damaged or destroyed tools will be deducted from your paycheck, as outlined in the price sheet below.

Upon termination of your employment (whether at your request or because of the company’s decision), you will be required to return all issued tools.  The tools must be functional and in good repair.  The value of any unreturned tools will be deducted from your final paycheck.

If you wish to keep any issued tools at the end your employment with Lake State Cleaning, please discuss with management.  A purchase agreement may be formed to enable this.  Purchases will be approved on a case by case basis.

All items listed below will be given to you when you start work at Lake State Cleaning. Pricing listed below is the cost of replacement.
